Global Cultural Community offers curious, open-minded, and adventurous Americans a wonderful immersion into life in China.   TRAVEL to Beijing and Shandong.  TOUR famous cultural and historic sites including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall.  Engage with the children and families while you TEACH American English and American culture to excited, eager, and respectful students in a fun, summer camp atmosphere.  

Global Cultural Community offers four weeks of traveling, touring, and direct, personal engagement with local families in Shandong, China.

No knowledge of Chinese language nor classroom experience is necessary.  Training and guidance are provided.

Travel and Touring 

In Beijing, you will engage in a profound and authentic experience as you acclimate to the culture of the region where everyday is a new adventure.  

After the Beijing experience, you will travel by train south to Shandong Province.  Here, at the host school in the city of Zibo, you will meet and partner with a Chinese teacher who will be your guide in your classroom experience.  The children are well-behaved and always excited by meeting a foreigner, especially an American.  Many children will offer you opportunities to visit their families.
